As a Strategic Account Executive at Sovos you will have the opportunity to work with an international team to sell solutions to a critical problem that customers NEED (this isn’t a nice to have)! Job Responsibilities

· Generate new business opportunities while effectively managing internal support resources and working full sales cycle opportunities from initial contact, to close and up-sell/cross-sell.

· Develop and execute an account-based commercial strategy to increase sales opportunities and retain customers

· Create and nurture executive and C-Suite relationships with clients

· Deliver profitable new business revenue growth in assigned territory while meeting and exceeding revenue targets and relevant quotas

· Grow and manage a balanced pipeline across assigned territory achieving new business revenue growth

· Effectively build a year-over-year record of consistent performance and accountability using multiple sales approaches and managing complex sales into large enterprises

· Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the tax compliance industry and the emerging competitive landscape.

· Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform management’s strategic decision-making

Organizational Alignment

· Reports to VP, Global Sales

Qualifications

· 10+ years proven success selling SaaS-based or software solutions to large multi-national organizations and able to manage complex sales cycles

· Proven targeting, prospecting, and closing skills while achieving or exceeding revenue quotas

· Ability to relate and present to the C-Suite level

· Employs a highly analytical approach to defining client outcomes and articulating value

· Ability to use facts and data to tell a story that leads to sales

· Proven ability to create energy and focus in highly matrixed team

· Ability to travel for client and prospect meetings, trade shows, sales team events

· Due to federal contracts - successful candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug test before hire

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

· Primary office location –

· Position requires

o minimal (less than 25%) travel required both domestic and international to Sovos locations and events

o moderate (less then 50%) travel required both domestic and international to Sovos locations and events

o significantly (more then 50%) travel required both domestic and international to Sovos locations and events

· Utilize technology (e.g., phone systems, computer hardware and software applications) to fulfill work requirements
