We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join us at Sovos. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cloud-native environment. You will be instrumental in designing, managing, and scaling our infrastructure, while also acting as a technical liaison in leadership discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Automation
  • Design and implement scalable Kubernetes clusters using Terraform.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for seamless deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and alerting.
• Collaboration & Leadership
  • Partner with Product and Scrum teams to align DevOps practices with business goals.
  • Present technical strategies and updates to leadership in both Spanish and English.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Operational Excellence
  • Ensure high availability and performance of production systems.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and lead root cause analysis.
  • Maintain documentation for configuration, release, and deployment processes.

What We Need from You:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• On-call rotation availability
• Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in:
  • Azure DevOps
  • Kubernetes / Docker Swarm
  • Terraform
  • CI/CD pipeline design
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience presenting technical content to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., tax, finance, compliance).
• Familiarity with Sovos Trust Services or similar digital onboarding platforms 2.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring DevOps teams.
