The Work You'll Do:

As a Junior Corporate IT Support Specialist at Sovos, you'll provide quality and professional desktop support to Sovos employees worldwide. You'll serve as a crucial technical resource, ensuring our team members have the tools and technology they need to succeed. In this role, you'll troubleshoot issues, manage system preparations, and deliver exceptional customer service to maintain optimal technology operations across the organization.

More specifically, you will:

  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to issues reported by Sovos employees
  • Utilize ticket tracking systems to document problem resolution outcomes
  • Prepare systems for new employees, including software installations and user configurations
  • Perform software installations and minor hardware repairs/maintenance
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Proactively manage high severity incidents from identification to resolution
  • Participate in emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule
  • Perform basic user administration on servers

What We Need From You

  • Familiarity with Windows, Office365, desktop support, and VPNs
  • Basic knowledge in Active Directory and Jira
  • Office hours Monday through Friday
  • Basic-intermediate English
  • Inventory management
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while effectively focusing on priority issues
  • Self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning
  • Integrity and ethical behavior in all professional matters
  • Ability to interact effectively with teammates, colleagues, and customers
  • Skills to comprehend and communicate complex concepts
  • Capability to concentrate, analyze, and resolve complex problems
