The Work You'll Do:
We are continuing to build our Centre of Excellence in Istanbul for our world-class Product Development and are looking for a talented Senior Agile Leader to join our team! As our Senior Agile Leader, you will work with teams of highly skilled and experienced engineers on globally strategic projects while driving agile excellence across the organization.
More specifically you will:
- Champion Agile/Scrum frameworks across Product Development and cross-functional teams, coaching others to understand how these practices deliver value
- Share learnings and best practices in engaging ways, recognizing opportunities to scale knowledge globally
- Guide teams inside and outside Product Development to apply Agile principles effectively in their contexts
- Facilitate scope and timeline negotiations at the Epic and Roadmap level with stakeholders
- Lead and deliver the most complex software delivery projects with multiple dependencies
- Drive larger-scale initiatives to build out and improve our build automation and continuous integration/delivery pipelines
- Push the boundaries of Sovos software delivery practices by partnering with innovators and helping them communicate and enact meaningful change
- Communicate key messages across the organization in ways that inspire and motivate action, influencing and negotiating outcomes at all levels
- Invest in team development through coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback that drives growth
- Communicate with impact consistently and foster strong collaboration between cross-functional teams
- Support team decisions and share responsibility with teams for both successes and failures
- Build high-performing teams by creating trust, facilitating healthy conflict, establishing commitment, and driving joint accountability to deliver results
- Effectively manage the change curve for complex or impactful organizational changes
- Remove impediments and enable team autonomy through servant leadership
What We Need From You:
- 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master/Agile Leader role or working in agile teams as a collaborative leader
- Current Scrum Master/Agile Leader Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and technical practices
- Deep expertise in Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as Definition of Done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement, retrospectives)
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe, etc.)
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills
- Business-level fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- Proven problem-solving, continuous improvement, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Outstanding organizational skills and hands-on experience with Jira or similar agile tools
- Track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
