The Work You'll Do:

As an Order to Cash Specialist at Sovos, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring seamless billing, collections, and cash application processes that keep our global business running smoothly. Working alongside our internal Billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Accounting teams, you'll provide critical support and maintenance of our business systems, processes, and data. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our financial operations while collaborating with colleagues across our international footprint.

More specifically, you will:

  • Support billing, collections, and cash application activities while accommodating ad-hoc requests to support your assigned Line of Business (LOB), using existing dashboards and worklists to ensure on-time billing and collections
  • Partner with OTC leaders on work calendars, manage individual worklist preparation and reporting, and support monthly customer processes including sweep sheets, close-won finance approval, and NetSuite synchronization
  • Troubleshoot with the team on quotes, invoices, and other data-driven elements to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all transactions
  • Identify process improvements to complete assigned functions more efficiently, strengthening deal approval workflows, cash application efficiency measures, and other operational enhancements
  • Participate in providing use cases and business needs for broader system transformation initiatives, including amendments and subscription billing tool improvements
  • Assist in supporting internal audits and controls to ensure the integrity of business processes and data are maintained at the highest standards

What We Need From You

  • Understanding of standard business practices related to OTC processes and systems, including sales cycles, CRM applications, reporting, forecasting, billing, accounts receivable, cash flow management, and renewal quotes
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products with extensive Excel expertise; ability to analyze data, create reports, and manage complex spreadsheets
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred, along with Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, and/or Tableau for data visualization and reporting
  • Strong logical and quantitative skills with the ability to identify trends, analyze data patterns, and propose effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and time zones in a global environment
