The Work You'll Do:
Product Development at Sovos is an integral part of what we do as an organization. An Agile Leader III will leverage Sovos best practices to improve the efficiency of their teams and suggest needed improvements. Influence other tech teams including cloud operations, security, architecture.
More specifically you will:
- Maintain Agile/Scrum Best Practices in high pressure situations
- Utilize metrics to help team proactively identify areas of improvement
- Balance multiple priorities using time management and decision-making skills
- Develop Agile/Scrum advocates within the Scrum Team(s)
- Influence other Product and Technology teams including Cloud Ops, InfoSec, Architecture, Org Readiness, and UX team.
- Contribute to sales enablement & Go to Market initiatives.
- Utilize collaboration skills to meet agreed-upon deadlines on team assignments and commitments
- Provide constructive feedback to team and its members and respond positively to feedback from team members
- Keep all levels cross-functionally appropriately informed of team’s progress.
- Enroll others in the reason “why” and effectively coaches and counsels team members to improve understanding.
What We Need From You
- Technical Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience
- Coaching/mentoring skills
- Can facilitate decision making independently
- Exposure to other products or lines of business and how they operate
- Apply learning to team
- Knowledge of multiple Sovos products
- Essential Job Functions:
- Interact effectively with teammates, colleagues and customers
- Comprehend and communicate complex concepts
- Concentrate, analyze and resolve complex problems
- Utilize technology (e.g. phone systems, computer hardware and software applications) to fulfill work requirements
