The Work You'll Do:

As a Global Account Manager, you'll work with a global team to manage and grow our most strategic client relationships. You'll be responsible for selling Sovos' SaaS-based tax compliance solutions to existing clients while identifying new opportunities within your accounts. Supporting multiple global accounts with ARR over $1 million, you'll manage complex sales cycles, develop strategic account plans, and drive revenue growth in an emerging market.

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase sales opportunities within global accounts
  • Sell and promote Sovos' SaaS-based products, with focus on GST and tax compliance solutions
  • Manage a balanced pipeline and consistently meet/exceed revenue targets and quotas
  • Navigate complex, large enterprise sales cycles ($250K+) and close late-stage deals successfully
  • Build strong relationships with Senior Executives and C-level stakeholders
  • Provide accurate sales data and pipeline management in Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrate passion for success with a relentless desire to win

What We Need from You:

  • 5+ years of corporate selling experience with proven track record of quota attainment
  • Strong background in GST compliance, tax technology, or related industry (5+ years preferred)
  • Demonstrated success selling large enterprise deals ($250K+) to Senior Executives
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and MS Office suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Self-motivated team player with drive to exceed targets
  • Moderate travel required (less than 50%)
