The Work You'll Do:
As an HR Generalist at Sovos, you'll be at the heart of our people operations—serving as a trusted partner to employees and managers across the organization. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you'll help shape the employee experience from day one through every milestone of their journey with us.
You'll be the go-to resource for HR guidance, working across multiple functions to ensure our people programs run smoothly and our policies are applied consistently. If you thrive on variety, enjoy solving problems, and want to make a real impact on workplace culture, this is your opportunity.
More specifically, you will:
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to deliver seamless onboarding experiences and orientation sessions for new hires
- Administer employee benefits programs, managing enrollments, changes, and communications
- Collaborate with HR Operations on leave management processes
- Support compensation cycles including annual reviews and market analysis
- Leverage AI-powered analytics tools to identify compensation trends and benefits utilization patterns
- Maintain accurate HRIS data and employee records
- Generate HR reports and conduct data analysis to inform decision-making
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers on benefits, policies, and HR procedures
- Coordinate employee recognition programs and internal communications
- Support employee programs including Wellness initiatives and Community Investment events
- Maintain HR-related content on company intranet and communication platforms
- Utilize AI chatbots to provide immediate responses to common HR questions
- Ensure employee files are organized and compliant
- Open requisitions in the applicant tracking system to support recruiting efforts
- Provide first-level employee relations support, escalating complex issues as appropriate
- Interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
- Conduct preliminary workplace investigations and recommend appropriate actions
- Develop and deliver HR training programs for employees and managers
- Support managers with performance concerns and improvement plans
- Participate in exit interviews to gather insights and identify retention opportunities
What We Need From You
- 2-4 years of HR experience
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proven problem-solving abilities and sound judgment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities
- Experience supporting managers and employees across various levels of the organization
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive matters
- Familiarity with AI-powered HR tools and analytics platforms
- Ability to interpret data insights from HR analytics and AI-generated reports
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- PHR or similar certification preferred but not required
- Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
