The Work You'll Do:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the full life cycle of complex, strategic, and enterprise-level projects, including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure, to ensure successful delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. As a Senior Project Manager, you will drive cross-functional alignment, establish governance models, manage executive stakeholder communication, and lead projects with a high degree of complexity, visibility, and business impact. You will serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, own major project escalations, and ensure delivery excellence across a portfolio of projects. You will also provide leadership and mentorship to other project managers and contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery practices.

More spesifically you will:

  • Lead complex, high-value, and strategic projects to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and achievement of business objectives.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and/or a portfolio of projects with full accountability for delivery outcomes.
  • Define project scope, goals, milestones, success metrics, and governance structure in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource plans, RAID logs, status reports, and executive summaries.
  • Proactively manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for project-related risks, issues, scope changes, and client concerns.
  • Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, client leadership teams, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and lead steering committee meetings, governance reviews, and executive project updates.
  • Ensure financial control of projects, including forecasting, revenue visibility, budget management, billable time approval, expense oversight, and margin awareness.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, and take corrective action where needed.
  • Identify delivery improvement opportunities and help standardize project management methodologies, templates, and best practices.
  • Support pre-sales, solution scoping, and implementation planning for strategic clients when needed.
  • Mentor junior project managers and contribute to team capability development.
  • Ensure high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction across the assigned project portfolio.
  • Work confidently in fast-paced environments and make sound decisions that materially impact project outcomes.
  • Successfully manage implementations for large enterprise and Fortune 1000 clients.

What We Need from You:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5-8+ years of experience managing complex e-transformation projects (e-invoice, e-ledger, etc.), SAP projects, or comparable enterprise software implementations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Turkish.
  • Strong experience in end-to-end project delivery for large-scale, cross-functional, and customer-facing implementations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, senior stakeholders, and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management, escalation handling, and executive communication.
  • Experience in project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and margin awareness.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Project or other project management platforms.
  • Experience using OpenAir or comparable PSA software solutions is highly desirable.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or other project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching project managers is a strong plus.
  • Superior customer service and client relationship management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization and across multiple departments and geographies.
  • Moderate travel required to company locations, events, and client sites when necessary.
