The Work You'll Do:
At Sovos, we're transforming how companies around the world manage tax compliance---helping half of the Fortune 500 and thousands more stay ahead in a complex, ever-changing global landscape. As a Solutions Consultant, you'll play a hands-on role in bringing our software to life for clients navigating complex local compliance requirements across Latin America.
This is a role where technical know-how meets client partnership---you'll work alongside project managers, technical teams, and customers to drive successful implementations from kickoff through go-live.
More specifically, you will:
- Manage individual project activities to ensure completion within defined timelines
- Apply product and functional knowledge to guide customers on best practices and ensure software meets local compliance requirements
- Support technical teams with troubleshooting based on your knowledge of the product and regulatory landscape
- Assist with light technical tasks such as PDF mapping adjustments to meet customer commitments
- Drive testing phases in line with customer needs and Sovos best practices
- Communicate clearly with internal and external project teams to keep implementation activities on track
- Help project managers maintain control of project scope, schedule, and costs
- Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage change control, identify issues, and develop contingency plans
- Support creation and maintenance of project documentation
- Use AI-powered tools and automation to streamline implementation workflows, surface insights, and improve delivery efficiency
What We Need From You
- Bachelor's degree
- Up to 1 year of experience in a software, professional services, or electronic business-to-government compliance environment
- Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects simultaneously
- Strong time management, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent customer service skills with comfort working alongside enterprise-level organizations
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort working with AI tools and a curiosity to explore how they can improve implementation processes
- Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire
