The Work You'll Do
As a Python Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable solutions that address complex business challenges. You will collaborate across teams to understand customer needs and deliver high-value software products. Leading by example, you will mentor colleagues, champion best practices, and drive a culture of continual learning and code quality. Your expertise will ensure that our software meets both functional and non-functional requirements, while you guide the team through the development lifecycle. More specifically, you will:

• Mentor and support software engineers to foster professional growth
• Lead the development, testing, and deployment of complex software applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, UX/UI designers, QA testers, and DBAs
• Champion code quality through peer reviews and continuous improvement practices
• Integrate technology, process, and business practices to deliver robust solutions
• Design and implement testing protocols to ensure comprehensive product validation
• Author and contribute to technical documentation, release notes, and bug fix records
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within your area of expertise

What We Need From You

• 8+ years of proven success in software engineering with object-oriented programming and web application technologies
• 2+ years of experience in technical leadership and hands-on team coaching
• 5+ years of experience with Python and Machine Learning
• Strong experience and knowledge of AWS
• Expertise in full stack Java MVC web development
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cluster deployment, and ASG; Terraform is a plus
• Proficiency in web front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, XML, JSON, Ajax)
• Strong back-end skills including WCF, SOAP/REST APIs, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, and Transact-SQL
• Familiarity with version control using Git/GitHub and Agile development processes
• Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote working environment
