The Work You’ll Do:

While all this growth is certainly exciting – we know that it cannot be sustained if we do not have the right people in place to support it. That is where you come in.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our global accounting team based in India. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting, you will be responsible for end-to-end execution of the global Accounts Payable function across multiple legal entities and currencies, supporting Sovos operations in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional to take ownership of a critical global process within a growing, multinational technology company.

More specifically, your areas of responsibility will include:

• Process vendor invoices end-to-end across global Sovos entities, including verification, coding to the correct general ledger accounts and cost centers, obtaining required approvals, and timely posting in the ERP system

• Manage weekly and ad-hoc payment runs across multiple currencies and banking platforms, ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time while adhering to internal controls and approval matrices

• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and AP sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner

• Own vendor master data maintenance, including onboarding new suppliers, validating banking and tax documentation (W-9, W-8, VAT IDs, etc.), and ensuring data integrity across the AP system

• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and internal stakeholders, responding to questions on invoice status, payment timing, and account balances in a professional and timely manner

• Support the month-end close by preparing AP-related accruals, reconciling the AP aging, and providing schedules and supporting documentation to the GL team in accordance with the close calendar

• Prepare monthly KPI reporting for management and address any questions related to the monthly vendor invoice volumes and work performed

• Manage the Form 1099 and Form 1042-S annual filing for the United States entity

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and indirect tax requirements (GST, VAT, withholding tax) across jurisdictions, and support both internal and external audits with AP-related documentation and analysis

• Identify and drive opportunities to standardize, streamline, and automate AP processes across regions, partnering with the broader finance team and ERP/system owners on continuous improvement initiatives

Skills and Competencies:

• 3–6 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience, ideally including AP for multiple legal entities or in a multinational/shared-services environment

• Foundational understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP or IFRS) and the general ledger close process

• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks

• Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, global accounting environment

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Exposure to an ERP system (NetSuite preferred) is a plus

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
