The Work You'll Do:
As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive at Sovos, you'll be responsible for driving net new revenue by bringing our tax compliance solutions to organizations that truly need them. You'll own your territory end-to-end — from prospecting through close — and build the kind of consistent, high-performance track record that defines a great enterprise sales career.
More specifically, you will:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and grow opportunities within your assigned territory
- Drive the full sales cycle: targeting top prospects, identifying solutions, delivering software demonstrations, and closing deals
- Sell and promote Sovos' SaaS-based products and services to net new accounts in the Financial Services and Insurance verticals
- Deliver profitable new business revenue growth while consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets and quotas
- Build and manage a balanced pipeline across your territory, maintaining accurate and detailed records in Salesforce.com
- Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance prospecting, prioritize opportunities, and accelerate deal velocity
- Navigate complex, large enterprise sales cycles ($100K+) and engage confidently with senior executives
- Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all dealings with internal and external stakeholders
- Take ownership of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
What We Need From You
- 3–5 years of corporate selling experience, including proven success selling to large Financial Services organizations
- Demonstrated ability to close large enterprise opportunities and manage complex sales cycles
- Experience selling SaaS-based or outsourced services preferred
- Strong targeting, prospecting, and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and the MS Office suite; comfort adopting new sales technology and AI tools to drive productivity
- Excellent communication skills — able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated, collaborative team player with the drive to exceed targets
- Willingness to travel moderately for client meetings, trade shows, and Sovos events
