JOB OBJECTIVE

The Facilities Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and the grounds and performs maintenance and repairs as directed by the Warehouse Operations Manager.

JOB SUMMARY

• Maintains facility to include painting, changing bulbs (interior and exterior), minor plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs (replacing switches, outlets, etc.), repairing walls, snow removal, among other duties as directed.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas assisting in housekeeping duties in a warehouse environment. Includes stripping/waxing floors and bailing cardboard.
• Maintains organization of storage areas and supplies.
• Work closely with warehouse staff to support daily operations and maintenance needs.
• Provide assistance during emergencies or urgent repairs as needed.
• Ensure areas regularly used by staff (such as break rooms, bathrooms, lobby, and conference rooms) are cleaned and sanitized daily.
• Assist Stores and trade shows, including building props, as directed. May travel to stores and perform repairs and perform cleaning on an annual basis.
• Follow all company policies and procedures for safety, quality, and sanitation. Participate with management in regard to personnel, maintenance, and equipment needs.
• Operate various machines as needed for cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, and events.

• Shift is 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• $25.00 Hourly

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, twist, bend, reach, squat, stand for several hours at a time and climb stairs.
• Basis knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment
• Experience with maintenance: minor electrical, painting, construction and basic carpentry required
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions
