Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within our warehouse operations. This role is vital in ensuring that inbound materials and packaging are managed accurately and promptly, supporting our commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the timely and accurate receipt and put-away of all inbound materials and packaging in the warehouse.

- Manage daily material picking activities as indicated by Warehouse Management System, Navision, and other planning tools.

- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external customers to coordinate logistics and resolve issues.

- Make systematic entries related to physical transactions of goods in the Warehouse Management System accurately and promptly.

- Ensure all materials are stored in compliance with Food Safety, Personnel Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

- Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) as needed and in accordance with established safety procedures.

- Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse processes and inventory management.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a food manufacturing or GMP environment.

- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems, Navision, and planning tools.

- Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks safely and efficiently.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory management.

- Knowledge of Food Safety standards, GMPs, and safety regulations.

- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) with a willingness to learn new systems

- Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts

- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

- Commitment to safety and quality standards
