Description
The Manufacturing Line Operator is responsible for ensuring efficient running of all stations on the production line. Performs line changes and makes adjustment to equipment. Monitors the quality of manufacturing product and process. Communicate and coordinate with manufacturing associates and mechanics
JOB SUMMARY
- Coordinate efficient running of the manufacturing line under direction of Manufacturing Supervisor and in coordination with Lead Cooks
- Train and coach Manufacturing Associates on performance of each manufacturing line station in accordance with company standards
- Ensure that each phase of manufacturing line is performed correctly and that appropriate supply levels (e.g., caps, glass, labels) are maintained
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for manufacturing inventory, efficiency and, quality, sanitation, and other key factors
- Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout shift and at the end of the shift
- Report any conditions that need attention to appropriate manager
- Show initiative in suggesting ideas on improving the operation/efficiency
- Perform line changes and minor adjustments to equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment problems in coordination with mechanic
- Following all company policies and procedures with regard to safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment, including food safety.
- May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require
- Perform other job duties as assigned

Requirements
- High school education or equivalent and 2-3 years of manufacturing experience
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs on a regular basis, climb ladders and stand for several hours at a time
- Ability to problem solve in a very fast paced environment
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Must be able to read write and communicate in English
- Ability to operate electrical and manual pallet jacks
- Experience and proven ability to work well in a fast paced environment
- Must be computer literate
