Role Overview
Technosylva is seeking to hire a full time VP of Integrations to lead end-to-end integration processes for mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, divestitures (separation management), and special strategic corporate development projects. This role involves working closely with senior leadership to develop and execute the company's M&A strategy, including identifying potential targets, outlining transaction objectives and strategic goals, participating in transaction execution, while serving as an end-to-end integration leader. This position will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Target Alignment
- Partner closely with the Chief Growth Officer to align investor-sourced opportunities with Technosylva’s growth strategy and M&A criteria.
- Provide integration-readiness assessments that evaluate strategic fit, market opportunity, synergy potential, and operational feasibility.
- Serve as a key strategic voice in target selection to ensure acquisitions strengthen the company’s core capabilities and value proposition.
Due Diligence to Integration Transition
- Actively participate in due diligence with a focus on identifying risks, uncovering synergies, and shaping actionable integration strategies.
- Collaborate with business and functional leaders to translate due diligence findings across work streams into detailed integration plans that support deal objectives and maximize value realization.
- Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to embed diligence insights into both planning and execution phases.
Integration Leadership
- Set the integration vision, cadence, and success measures, fostering accountability across teams and proactively removing barriers to execution.
- Lead all M&A integration workstreams from strategy through planning and execution, spanning functional areas such as Finance, HR, IT, and Operations.
- Partner with business and functional leaders to design and deliver robust integration plans that drive speed-to-value, ensure cultural alignment, and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee the timely completion of integration activities, applying tailored strategies to maximize transaction success and demonstrate measurable value from M&A initiatives.
Project Management and Cross-Functional CollaborationCommunication
- Serve as the central program leader for M&A initiatives, coordinating integration and value capture efforts across all departments.
- Manage a team of internal and external project managers to ensure alignment, accountability, and on-time delivery of integration milestones, while supporting their growth and effectiveness in M&A execution.
- Facilitate collaboration and clear communication across the organization to maintain momentum and alignment.
- Analyze data to identify integration challenges, resolve issues, and implement improvements.
- Track progress, address obstacles, and drive continuous enhancement of integration processes.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, develop communication plans for employees, and guide the cultural integration of acquired companies.
- Oversee integration budgets, monitor ROI, and evaluate performance metrics to measure success.
Capability & Culture Building
- Act as a culture ambassador during integrations, fostering alignment between acquired teams and Technosylva’s values.
- Build and strengthen the company’s M&A capability by developing repeatable processes, enhancing integration templates in Notion, and refining playbooks based on lessons learned.
- Mentor and develop internal talent to deepen integration expertise and organizational readiness.
- Identify and address organizational, operational, and cultural barriers to successful integration and long-term value creation.
- Lead or support strategic initiatives such as competitive intelligence, market analysis, and scenario planning.
- Provide executive-level insights and reporting to inform Board and senior leadership decisions on M&A and growth strategies.
Required Experience/Skills:
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least three years in integration management, post-merger integration (PMI), or related strategic operations roles, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
- Proven track record overseeing multiple complex integrations from due diligence through post-close optimization, with an emphasis on SaaS-specific operational, technical, and customer considerations.
- Experience managing integrations across multiple geographies, cultures, and time zones, including knowledge of international employment laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong background in organizational change management, including stakeholder engagement, cultural integration, and communication planning.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with executive leadership, private equity investors, and cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, HR, Legal, IT) to deliver unified integration outcomes.
- Familiarity with IT systems integration, data migration, and platform consolidation in a SaaS environment.
- Ability to define integration KPIs, measure performance, and adjust strategies to maximize long-term value.
- Committed to ensuring customer experience continuity during integration processes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders from board members to employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with private equity-backed companies and understanding investor perspectives on deal flow and integration.
- Proven ability to build and mature internal M&A integration capabilities, including processes, governance, and team development.
- Ability to operate at multiple levels of detail (“multi-altitude”), zooming in to resolve tactical challenges while maintaining strategic alignment across the organization.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, solving complex problems, navigating stakeholders with differing viewpoints and priorities while being able to work independently.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity, willingness to learn, and engage in new projects.
- Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
