We use best practice in learning design and content development to create impactful digital learning products which solve our client’s problems. We are an innovative and energetic team who love collaborating and pushing the boundaries of learning.
Bookboon Learning (an Access Company and global publisher) is part of this team of talented content creators and publishes bite-size personal development and L&D content in eBook, audio and live webinar (Virtual Classrooms) formats in 13 languages. The content team is currently located in the UK, Denmark and Lithuania and represents a variety of languages and countries. After English and German, Dutch is our third most important language. Our Dutch-speaking region clients include heavy players in the IT, construction and finance sectors.
The Role
This is a maternity cover.
You will be contributing to creating an exciting book and audio collection within the personal development and L&D fields.
You will be handling content submitted by our Dutch-speaking experts, in written and audio formats. You will support our experts by answering their queries and ensure their content is submitted to Bookboon’s production managers. You may also be asked to commission new content by favourite experts.
This position is ideal for an individual who has a background in communication, linguistics, or customer service. As we are a multicultural team, a curiosity about languages and cultures will be highly appreciated.
CORE RESPONSBILITIES
Contact our existing authors to support them with their publication.
If needed, contact industry relevant authors, thought leaders and subject experts in the Dutch-speaking region to win them as authors/content creators for Bookboon.
Edit and manage titles through publication and oversee all aspects of the delivery of the content to ensure quality and consistency.
Key Requirements:
Language requirements: Candidates must be fluent in English AND Dutch. German, French, Spanish or Italian will be considered a plus.
You are enthusiastic about content, whether in audio or written form.
You enjoy virtual meetings and connecting with new people.
You are a strong and highly effective communicator with who is able to excite people, but also negotiate if necessary.
You are resilient and you approach challenges with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
You have strong organisational & time management skills and can stay calm when under pressure.
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and ability to work with all members of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team.
Previous experience in recruitment or B2B client relationships is considered an advantage.
