About you: As a Dev Ops Engineer, you are expected to have 5+ years of experience in working in highly functional Dev Ops teams in a SAAS based environment. You will be working on for both internal and external cloud networks supporting FastTrack360; internal Product & Engineering Team DEV/QAT/REL, external clients consuming the FastTrack360 in either Production/UAT or Training. About your day-to-day tasks & responsibilities: 1/ Engaged in both the Internal Network and FastTrack360 Cloud Network including; - Monitoring/Maintenance/Patch Planning/Security Management of all FastTrack360 hardware and services. - Capacity Management - FastTrack360 service availability management/uptime - 99.95% 2/ DevOps - Adhere to and contribute to improvement of Dev Ops practices and software development life cycle methodologies. This includes being responsible for all new client deployments and existing client upgrades. - Adhere to and contribute to towards effective source control for all infrastructure as code and pipelines. - Champion a quality focused approach including: good planning, branch strategy; promoting/participating in early discovery of defects; code reviews; units testing where appropriate; and collaboration with appropriate teams to test pipelines. 3/ General - Engaged in supporting general service requests. - Supporting the Product & Engineering team and alignment of technology changes where it impacts the FastTrack360 Cloud environment in anyway. - Drives and supports the team objectives in the sprint and champions agile practises/processes. - Be a part of our global team; participating in meetings; offering your input and expertise on any given matter Skills & Core Competencies: - Windows Server Operating Systems. - SQL Server Enterprise – HA environment. - IIS & .Net Sites. - AWS IAM. - Networking. - PowerShell Scripting. - Terraform – Infrastructure as code. - CI/CD tools - Octopus Deploy/Team City. - Atlassian tools - JIRA/Confluence. - Firewall management; Windows firewall, AWS-WAF/SG, Palo Alto (IDS/IPS). - Load Balancing – Familiarity working with systems that run in HA environment. Experience: 1/ Previous work experience within a SAAS based environment. 2/ Knowledge in an IT/Cloud Security, across IT Security design and architecture 3/ Knowledge of AWS/ Cloud Computing deployment and management. AWS certifications would be preferred. 4/ Significant experience with; - Environment Patching. - Infrastructure Monitoring & Reporting with tools like ELK/Cloud Watch/DataDog/Status Page. - Atlassian tools - JIRA/Confluence. - Office365. - CI/CD tools like Octopus Deploy/Team City. - MS SQL Server. - IIS & .Net sites. - PowerShell. - Windows Server. - Security Concepts such as WAF, Firewall, OS Hardening, Security Best Practices 5/ Experience in participating in continuous process improvement activities. 6/ Knowledge of the Product Development lifecycle and Agile practises. Education: - Completion of a combination Business and IT or Computer Science degree or Networking Certification - AWS/Azure Cloud Computing Certification What are we all about?
