About you: We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer who not only possesses a deep understanding of user needs but also has the strategic mindset to influence product direction. You have a strong foundation in user-centered design, research methodologies, and interaction design, allowing you to craft seamless and impactful user experiences. Your expertise in design thinking, user research, and behavioral insights enables you to uncover valuable insights that drive both business success and user satisfaction. You are passionate about UX as a discipline, continuously honing your craft, staying ahead of industry trends, and mentoring others to elevate the UX maturity within the organization. The ideal candidate will: •Be a strategic thinker, able to connect UX decisions to business goals, influencing both product strategy and customer success. •Take full ownership of UX initiatives, from research to execution, while also guiding and supporting junior team members. •Operate independently, making data-driven design decisions, but also collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams. •Have proven experience in end-to-end UX processes, including user research, concept development, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, and usability testing. •Be data-driven and results-oriented, defining and measuring UX success through KPIs, behavioral analytics, and continuous testing. •Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring experiences are usable for diverse audiences. Day-to-day, you will: •Lead UX design initiatives, owning the research, strategy, and execution of design projects across multiple products or platforms. •Plan and conduct in-depth user research, including qualitative (interviews, usability testing, ethnographic studies) and quantitative (surveys, analytics, A/B testing) methodologies. •Synthesize research findings into personas, Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD journey maps, and experience blueprints to inform design decisions. Design interactions, creating high-fidelity UI designs, prototypes, and flows across various platforms while ensuring a seamless user experience. •Validate and refine designs through usability testing, heatmaps, and behavioral analytics, proactively addressing usability issues before development. •Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to align UX solutions with business goals, technical constraints, and market needs. •Mentor junior UX designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and knowledge sharing. •Advocate for UX best practices within sprint teams, ensuring a human centered approach is embedded in the development cycle. •Work with DesignOps and contribute to design systems, ensuring consistency and efficiency in UX across all products. Access UX team members also: •Influence product and business strategy by advocating for user needs and ensuring research-backed decisions shape the roadmap. •Facilitate internal and external workshops, helping teams align on user challenges, design solutions, and innovation opportunities. •Present and communicate design rationale and research insights to stakeholders in an engaging, storytelling-driven manner. •Take the initiative to drive process improvements and shape how UX is practiced within the organization. •Contribute to and expand our design systems and DesignOps initiatives, ensuring UX scalability and efficiency. •Stay active in the UX and design community, continuously learning, sharing insights, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible What does Access offer you?
