About you:
As a Risk Analytics Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled Risk Data Analysts who use analytical tools and models to implement effective risk strategies and automation solutions. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a smooth onboarding journey for our customers whilst reducing merchant and fraud risk. You will also be responsible for producing dashboards and reports to inform business decisions.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Lead the Risk Analytics team in the UK.
- Develop and implement automation tools and models (workflows, scorecards) to streamline underwriting.
- Develop and maintain Machine Learning (ML) & Artificial Intelligence (AI) models to mitigate merchant risk and payment fraud.
- Create and maintain dashboards to track risk performance and inform business decisions.
- Set up monitoring alerts to prevent merchant losses.
- Work closely with the merchant investigations and fraud investigations teams to ensure effective monitoring of merchants and fraud.
- Work on risk related projects as assigned.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
- Previous experience working in data analytics in the payments industry.
- Advanced SQL, experience with Python or R.
- Knowledge of AI tools and advanced statistical methods for detecting and mitigating risk
- Experience using visualisation tools such as Tableau or PowerBi.
- Highly productive and self-motivated with excellent communication skills confident working closely with customers / stakeholder and interface with Senior Management.
- Extensive multi-tasking and prioritisation skills, able to excel in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
