Are you ready to take charge and lead the charge? We're on the hunt for a Go-to-Market Lead who's as passionate about marketing as we are about helping small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized businesses thrive in Australia. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind our product and marketing strategies, making sure our solutions hit the market with a bang and our customers are engaged every step of the way. Think product marketer meets campaign manager, all in one. You will need to be strategic, analytical and able to get things done.
This isn’t just any marketing gig—this is your chance to own the full go-to-market process, from strategy to execution, and everything in between. You'll be working with a talented team, including content leaders, digital product owners, marketing executives, SDR’s, and customer engagement specialists to make sure our value propositions are spot-on and our campaigns are a hit.
What You'll Do:
Lead the Charge:
- Create and roll out killer go-to-market strategies for new product launches, updates, and campaigns. You’ll make sure everything we do aligns with our big-picture goals.
- Work hand-in-hand with content leaders, digital product owners and customer marketers to ensure a seamless approach across all our marketing and product efforts.
- Take the lead from start to finish—developing strategy, analyzing the market, fine-tuning our value propositions, and executing plans that create competitive advantage for our products in their market that drive results
Drive Product Success:
- Craft compelling product messaging that speaks directly to our SME and mid-sized business customers.
- Collaborate with our content leaders to create engaging content like case studies, white papers, and sales tools.
- Partner with our sales team from day one, ensuring we’re all on the same page and set up for success together.
Learn and Adapt:
- Lead the charge on continuously optimising our efforts through testing, data analysis, and fine-tuning.
- Manage our marketing budget like it’s your own, making sure we’re getting the most bang for our buck.
Lead & Mentor:
- You’ll directly lead a talented team of marketing executives and SDR’s, providing guidance, support, and a collaborative environment where everyone thrives.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging your team to push boundaries and constantly ask, “what if?”
Collaborate & Innovate:
- Work closely with product development, sales, content leaders, and digital product owners to align all our marketing efforts.
- Lead cross-functional teams in planning and executing integrated campaigns.
- Keep our senior leadership team in the loop with regular updates on performance, market feedback, and strategic insights.
Partner with Sales:
- Team up with sales to ensure a united front as we go to market.
- Develop and deliver training programs and tools that align our marketing strategies with sales goals.
- Build a strong, ongoing partnership with sales, ensuring we’re in sync throughout the entire go-to-market process.
Engage and Grow with our Customers:
- Develop customer segmentation strategies to personalise our marketing and boost engagement, upsell and cross sell programs across and within our portfolios.
- Champion the voice of the customer and the central product proposition in all planning and execution forums
- Implement feedback loops to refine our strategies.
What You’ll Need to ace it:
- A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing, GTM and digital marketing, or similar roles in the tech/software industry.
- A proven track record of successful product launches and go-to-market strategies.
- A deep understanding of the SME and mid-sized business landscape in Australia.
- Experience running and optimising digital marketing campaigns
- Experience with running campaigns through a marketing automation platform, ideally Marketo
- Experience in data driven campaign management, using reporting tools and data to analyse performance and drive future planning
- Strong communication, project management, and leadership skills.
- A knack for leading teams and driving results.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to turn metrics into insights.
