About You
As a Billing Specialist for Access Group’s Ireland operations, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely billing. You’ll manage the customer ledger, prepare invoices, and resolve billing-related queries. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Day-to-Day, You Will:
- Prepare and send invoices accurately and on time, verify billing data, resolve discrepancies, and monitor billing cycles to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and update the customer ledger, reconcile accounts, and manage outstanding invoices by proactively following up on overdue payments.
- Respond promptly to billing inquiries and work with customer service teams to resolve disputes and discrepancies.
- Generate billing and accounts receivable reports, analyze data for trends, identify process improvements, and ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial standards.
Your Skills and Experience Might Include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, plus proven experience in billing or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, billing procedures, Microsoft Excel, financial software, and familiarity with Irish tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
