About you

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytically-minded Data Assurance Analyst to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with a strong interest in finance and data quality to build their career in a fast-growing SaaS business.

Sitting within the Finance team, you will own the day-to-day checking and validation of revenue data, ensuring our dashboards and reports reflect accurate information. You'll work closely with the Data Governance Lead and will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of key financial metrics.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Own all day-to-day data accuracy checking across revenue dashboards and financial reports

  • Perform daily and weekly data quality validation routines

  • Monitor data completeness and investigate anomalies or inconsistencies

  • Execute standardized data quality checks and validation procedures

  • Reconcile data between systems and identify discrepancies

  • Maintain detailed logs of data quality issues and track resolution status

  • Support month-end data verification and sign-off processes

  • Respond to basic data accuracy queries from stakeholders

  • Escalate systemic issues or patterns to the Data Governance Lead

  • Contribute to documentation of data validation procedures

  • Partnering with the business on identifications & fixes

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • 0–2 years' experience in data analysis, finance, or reporting (graduate or junior analyst level)

  • Strong interest in finance and financial data

  • Proficiency in Excel and basic understanding of dashboards (Power BI or Tableau exposure helpful)

  • Exceptional attention to detail and systematic approach to work

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills

  • Good communication skills with ability to explain data issues clearly

  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks

  • Eager to learn and develop data quality expertise

  • Reliable and organized with strong time management

  • Proactive in identifying and raising issues

Preferred Skills

  • Basic SQL knowledge or willingness to learn

  • Exposure to SaaS business metrics (ARR, MRR, churn) is a plus

  • Understanding of accounting or finance principles

  • Experience with data validation or reconciliation tasks
