The Salesforce Functional Consultant must have in depth knowledge of the Salesforce.com products and have hands on experience performing declarative development on the platform.
The role will be fast paced, varied, and rewarding.
Responsibilities:
- Manage business stakeholder engagement, to serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce.com initiatives.
- Manage and undertake investigating and documenting internal customer requirements, impact analysis, working with colleagues to design potential solutions. Articulate and document the agreed solution.
- Manage internal customer requirements and expectations according to feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Support delivery of technical solutions and system integrations including testing strategy and execution. Work with business colleagues to gain user acceptance and take up.
- Coordinating project retrospectives against success criteria and KPIs re-affirming the success and lessons learnt after delivery.
Key skills and experiences:
- 5+ years of experience working as a Salesforce Functional Consultant or system admin with a solid background and experience in business analysis, system design, configuration and user stories and testing.
- Ability to produce functional/non-functional designs
- Ability to gather business requirements working with client, driving out answers when business process is not clearly defined. This would include running workshops.
- Be a strong communicator (verbal and written), be tactful and diplomatic with the ability to present at all levels
- Understand and be able to operate using both agile-scrum and Waterfall delivery approaches.
