Position Summary:
You will work in the Finance platform team, focused, collaborative and enthusiastic to supporting our internal and external customers. You’ll be the expert in what and how to support and deliver global finance system solutions collaborating with our Finance colleagues. You’ll be brilliant at updating and provide stakeholders with timelines, options and implications to find the best solution. You will be able to communicate the technical aspects in an easy-to-understand way, and discuss the technical language associated with other colleagues when needed. You’ll also be able to communicate and collaborate with different teams across Access to escalate issues and deliver projects.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
Manage user access, security roles, configurations, system calendars, workflows, integrations, and monitor system performance while troubleshooting issues.
Write and optimize SQL scripts/queries for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, variance analysis, and quality checks.
Provide first-line user support, create and maintain training/documentation, conduct training sessions, and facilitate UAT for system changes.
Support financial close processes and reporting needs while driving process automation and improvements, including AI‑powered solutions to reduce manual workload.
Skills, knowledge, experience & qualifications:
Strong SQL proficiency (write/debug/optimize), experience with finance systems (1–3 years as user or junior admin), advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and solid understanding of data protection and requirement testing.
Demonstrated use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or AI coding assistants, with a proactive mindset for exploring new technologies and improving processes.
Methodical troubleshooting ability, curious and analytical approach, strong attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders, collaborative working style, and a growth‑oriented attitude toward both technical and personal development.
