About the role
As a Renewal Account Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of Mid‑Market and Strategic customer renewals. You’ll work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment where you’ll be responsible for protecting revenue, securing renewals, and identifying opportunities to grow value for customers. You’ll take a solution‑focused approach, using your experience to recommend best practices and guide customers and internal teams toward successful outcomes.
Day‑to‑day, you will:
- Manage a high-volume renewal book, leading consultative renewal conversations and negotiating terms that support both customer goals and business objectives.
- Engage proactively with decision‑makers ahead of renewal dates, using customer data such as usage, support trends, and satisfaction scores to guide discussions.
- Work closely with Customer Success, Support, and Sales to resolve issues, identify upsell or cross‑sell opportunities, and minimise churn risk.
- Keep accurate CRM records and forecasts, use renewal playbooks to drive efficiency, and share insights that help improve processes across the team.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
- Experience working in B2B SaaS renewals, inside sales, or account management.
- Confidence in negotiating commercial terms and handling high‑volume renewal cycles.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
- Understanding of customer health indicators, risk signals, and contract lifecycle processes.
