About you:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive the development and delivery of our BI products, ensuring they align with business goals and customer needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders at all levels—to define product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high‑quality solutions that elevate engineering excellence across the Access Group.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document data-related business requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Define and prioritise the product backlog, driving the agile delivery process (sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews) and coordinating development teams for timely, high‑quality outcomes.
- Monitor product performance and user metrics to identify optimisation opportunities, ensuring stakeholders are informed and prepared for system or process changes.
- Create and deliver training materials and stay up‑to‑date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in data and analytics.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
- 1+ year as a Product Owner or 2–3 years as a Business Analyst, with strong Agile experience and proficiency in requirement‑management tools (ADO/Jira).
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience with GenAI tools for workforce optimisation or software development, plus familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Skilled in facilitating workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather requirements; familiarity with software development practices (e.g., ITIL) is a plus.
