About you:
You enjoy exploring how things work and finding the weaknesses others miss. You’re curious, thoughtful and comfortable diving deep into applications to understand what could go wrong and how to fix it. You like turning complex security findings into clear and helpful guidance for development teams. You’re confident using tools like Burp Suite and you enjoy working with people across the business to make our software safer.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Carry out penetration tests on web applications, internal systems and application programming interfaces (APIs), using recognised methods to uncover security issues.
• Use Burp Suite and other tools to identify vulnerabilities such as cross-site scripting, SQL injection and server-side request forgery.
• Produce clear, high‑quality reports that explain risks and offer practical next steps for development teams.
• Work closely with teams across the organisation to support improvements in how we build and secure our applications.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Experience using a range of security testing tools alongside Burp Suite.
• Understanding of common web application vulnerabilities, including those highlighted by the OWASP Top 10.
• Experience taking part in security research or bug bounty programmes.
• Knowledge of recognised offensive security certifications.
