You’ll play an important role in making sure we close our revenue numbers smoothly each month. You enjoy working with detail, solving problems, and bringing clarity to complex data. You’re confident working with accounting standards, and you’re happy partnering with teams across the business to keep things accurate, simple and consistent. You like finding better ways to do things and you’re comfortable using systems and tools to make that happen.
• Lead our revenue month-end close, making sure journals, reconciliations and accruals are accurate and completed on time.
• Work closely with teams like financial reporting, billing and credit control to share information and keep revenue data aligned.
• Support improvements to our revenue processes, including helping with new system implementations and making sure our approach matches accounting standards.
• Provide clear analysis and insight that helps others understand trends and supports good decision-making.
• Experience in revenue accounting and an understanding of financial reporting standards.
• Confidence working with tools such as Excel or other data and financial modelling systems.
• An interest in improving processes and making things simpler and more consistent.
• Strong communication skills that help you work well with different teams.
