Position Summary
We're seeking a senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead digital growth across APAC for our People & Payroll division. This is a high-impact, end-to-end ownership role for a commercially minded digital leader who can set strategy, drive performance, and operate with full autonomy across the digital marketing funnel.
You'll set the strategy, prioritise the central specialist team's work as it relates to your division, and be directly accountable for digital pipeline contribution to the People & Payroll business.

What You'll Be Doing

Strategic Leadership

  • Own the digital marketing strategy and roadmap for APAC People & Payroll, aligned to divisional commercial targets.
  • Hold accountability for digital pipeline contribution, MQL/SQL volume, and BWSP delivery for the division.
  • Act as the digital lead and primary point of contact for the divisional Head of Marketing and senior commercial stakeholders.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews, monthly performance reporting, and forward planning for the division.
  • Identify, build the case for, and prioritise growth initiatives across the funnel.

Channel Direction & Performance

  • Brief, prioritise and direct the work of the central SEO, Paid Media and Paid Social specialists as it applies to People & Payroll.
  • Oversee performance across organic search, paid search, paid social, and direct, and intervene where channels are off plan.
  • Own divisional landing page and conversion rate optimisation roadmap.
  • Manage the divisional digital budget, including forecasting, pacing, and reallocation across channels.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Own the divisional digital reporting suite, including fortnightly performance decks and HoM-level updates.

  • Lead deep-dive analysis to surface growth opportunities and explain variances.

  • Use Dreamdata, GA4, Salesforce and SA360 to connect channel activity to pipeline and revenue.
  • Set and monitor KPIs across acquisition, conversion, pipeline and BWSP, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Partner with the divisional Head of Marketing and broader commercial team to align digital activity to business priorities.
  • Work with sales operations to improve lead quality, routing and conversion.
  • Collaborate with the wider APAC Digital Marketing Managers peer group to share learnings and drive consistency across the portfolio.
  • Engage with global digital and product marketing counterparts to leverage shared assets and avoid duplication.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • 6+ years of B2B digital marketing experience, with at least 2 years owning the digital strategy and performance for a business unit, product line, or division.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering pipeline and revenue outcomes from digital marketing in a B2B SaaS or professional services environment.
  • Proven experience managing multi-channel digital programs with annual media budgets of $500K+.
  • Experience operating in a matrixed environment with central specialist teams and divisional stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial fluency, including pipeline mechanics, attribution, and forecasting.

Technical Skills

  • Analytics & Attribution: Advanced GA4, Dreamdata or equivalent multi-touch attribution platform, and Looker Studio or Tableau.
  • Paid Media: Strong working knowledge of SA360, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • SEO: Confident with SEMrush, SE Ranking, Google Search Console, and modern technical SEO principles.
  • CRM: Working proficiency in Salesforce for lead management, campaign tracking and pipeline reporting.
  • CMS: Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms (Umbraco, WordPress, or similar).
  • AI Tools: Practical, daily use of LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for analysis, content and workflow automation.
  • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS and modern web fundamentals.

Leadership & Communication

  • Effective at directing and getting strong outputs from specialists in a matrixed structure.
  • Confident presenting to senior stakeholders, including HoM and director level.
  • Able to translate complex performance data into clear commercial narratives and decisions.
  • Resilient under pressure and comfortable holding the line on prioritisation when stakeholder demand exceeds capacity.

Personal Attributes

  • Self-directed and accountable. You don't need to be told what to do next.
  • Commercially minded with a bias to action and outcomes over activity.
  • Collaborative, with strong cross-functional relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience marketing payroll, HR tech, or workforce management software.
  • APAC market experience, particularly Australia and New Zealand.
