What your day will look like
- Participation in the preparation and analysis of the consolidated financial statements (monthly/quarterly/yearly) of the Thinkproject Group (currently 27 legal entities)
- Participate in the Group consolidation of our various global entities including ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and local legal requirements to ensure accurate reporting both internally and externally
- Perform consolidation processes for the Group and ensure accurate reporting
- Support the further development of the consolidation tool (LucaNet)
- Contribute to process optimization: identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, implement best practices and leverage innovative technologies to increase efficiency and scalability
- Support in the implementation of accounting regulations and preparation of group guidelines
- Collaboration on special projects (e.g. integration of newly acquired companies into the group accounting system)
- Close cooperation with other departments (financial accounting/controlling) and contact person for external auditors
What you need to fulfill the role
- Successfully completed business studies, ideally with a topic-related focus in the area of accounting/auditing or a comparable qualification
- 0-5 years of professional experience at an auditing company or in the (group) accounting department of a company are desirable
- Good knowledge of (group) accounting according to HGB/IFRS
- Profound knowledge in the use of Excel and, if necessary, first knowledge in the use of consolidation software
- Ability to work independently, a high degree of self-management as well as a structured way of working and acting on your own responsibility
- Hands-on mentality, structured approach to work and enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work in a team as well as good communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
