Want to work in a culture built on mutual trust and respect? How about having the freedom to make work fit into your life (and not the other way round)? A career with Thinkproject could be just the opportunity you're looking for.

What do we do?
Thinkproject is a European market-leader in digitalisation tools for construction companies. It sounds complex, but we'll explain further! Construction companies used to use manual administration and physical paperwork for projects (sometimes hundreds of thousands of bits of paperwork for one project!). Using our construction intelligence solutions, businesses can go digital, which benefits everyone from the construction companies to the wider public.

Our mission is to deliver digitalisation to make a safer, healthier and more sustainable AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Operations) industry. This is a really exciting time to join our company, since our founding in 2000 we have gone from strength-to-strength and have lots of exciting developments coming up soon that you could be a part of.

What your day will look like

  • Participation in the preparation and analysis of the consolidated financial statements (monthly/quarterly/yearly) of the Thinkproject Group (currently 27 legal entities)
  • You are responsible for monthly IC Reconciliation and ensure monthly IC invoicing
  • You act as contact person to internal/external financial department of subsidiaries to ensure timely closing and support in questions regarding group accounting guidelines and IFRS adjustments
  • Support in and perform consolidation processes for the Group and ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Support the further development of the consolidation tool (currently LucaNet)
  • Contribute to process optimization: identify opportunities to improve group accounting processes, implement best practices and leverage innovative technologies to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Support in the implementation of accounting regulations and preparation of group guidelines
  • Collaboration on special projects (e.g. integration of newly acquired companies into the consolidation system)
  • Close cooperation with other departments (financial accounting/controlling) and contact person for external auditors

What you need to fulfill the role

  • Successfully completed business studies, ideally with a topic-related focus in the area of accounting, finance or a comparable qualification
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the (group) accounting department of a company or at an auditing company
  • Good knowledge of (group) accounting according to IFRS, sufficient knowledge of Local GAAP requirements
  • Good Knowledge in the use of consolidation software; knowledge of Lucanet is a plus.
  • Profound knowledge of Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written) as well as interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
