Thinkproject is a European market-leader in digitalisation tools for construction companies. It sounds complex, but we'll explain further! Construction companies used to use manual administration and physical paperwork for projects (sometimes hundreds of thousands of bits of paperwork for one project!). Using our construction intelligence solutions, businesses can go digital, which benefits everyone from the construction companies to the wider public.

What your day will look like

Join our data team as a developer to implement and maintain cutting-edge data solutions for a leading software product in the European construction market.

Take point in implementing the collection and visualization of valuable internal statistics
Work with our development team in verifying and improving the correctness and precision of existing statistics
Review other developers' code related to database changes

What you need to fulfill the role

Proven knowledge about the concepts of relational databases, e.g., from modules "Foundations of Database Systems" (HU-Berlin), "Information Systems and Data Analytics" (TU-Berlin), "Database Systems" (FU-Berlin), or similar.
Proven knowledge of mathematics, preferably statistics
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Perl).

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with Linux-based environments
Experience in data visualization
Experience in data warehousing systems
Experience working with a team in an agile environment
Experience in algorithms and performance-tuning SQL queries

Additional Requirements:

Fluent in German
Proficient in English
Enrolled in computer science, software engineering, or similar courses at a University/Fachhochschule.
