Pioneering a new era and offering a cohesive alternative to the fragmented landscape of construction software, Thinkproject seamlessly integrates the most extensive portfolio of mature solutions with an innovative platform, providing unparalleled features, integrations, user experiences, and synergies.
By combining information management expertise and in-depth knowledge of the building, infrastructure, and energy industries, Thinkproject empowers customers to efficiently deliver, operate, regenerate, and dispose of their built assets across their entire lifecycle through a Connected Data Ecosystem.
Our Data Protection team is a small, collaborative group that works closely across departments to ensure data protection is integrated into everything we do.
We value openness, mutual support, and a work environment where people are encouraged to take ownership and grow. We believe work should support your life, not compete with it, we believe in succeeding as a team and learning together. We’re looking for someone like us—with curiosity, independence, optimism, and a sense of humor—to join the team and grow with us.
We’re looking for a mid-level data protection coordinator to help us strengthen and mature our privacy program. This is a hands-on role with a wide range of responsibilities.
You’re curious by nature. You don’t need someone to tell you what to do - you’ll seek it out. You can juggle different projects and shift gears between projects. You bring optimism into your work, and you're not afraid of (or bored by) the tricky bits of data protection.
You believe in:
- Clarity over jargon
- Teamwork over ego
- Progress over perfection
What your day will look like
One day you’ll write a privacy notice, the next you’ll be contributing to recording processing activities. No two days are the same, and we like it that way.
Here’s a peek at what you might do:
- Contribute to growing and maturing our privacy program across the organization
- Create and maintain RoPAs in OneTrust
- Write and review privacy notices that people want to read
- Help define internal Policies and Procedures regarding data protection and support implementation
- Contribute to DPIAs and risk assessments when needed
- Support the Group Data Protection Officer in all matters
What you need to fulfill the role
We’re not looking for perfection - we’re looking for someone smart, self-driven, and collaborative.
Must-have:
- 3 years experience in data protection or a related privacy role
- Strong working knowledge of GDPR (bonus points for other data protection laws too)
- Solid working experience in One Trust
- Curiosity about new technologies (especially AI) and how they intersect with privacy
- A good understanding of IT security principles and how they impact data protection
- Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment
- Ownership mindset - you follow through and you care
- Fluent English speaker
Nice-to-have:
- Law degree (bonus if you’ve worked for international companies)
- Data protection certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM)
- German language skills (not essential, but always a plus)
- Prior experience in SaaS or tech environments
