What your day will look like
As a Junior System Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the stable, secure, and scalable operation of the product infrastructure, ensuring smooth service delivery across environments with a focus on Linux-based platforms.
- You will be actively involved in the engineering, provision and operation of technology solutions for our customer platform, which is operated in various data centers (public clouds and co-locations)
- With the support of the team, you will proactively ensure maximum availability of systems and infrastructure.
- You will perform routine maintenance on the infrastructure of our SaaS solutions, including software releases, patching and vulnerability scanning processes.
- Implementation of automatisations to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

- Support the company in integration of new technologies
- Actively participate in an on-call and platform service, troubleshooting and resolving and handling escalations to other technical teams, senior management or account managers
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Contribute on technical projects including risk management and reporting
- Understanding and improving the Thinkproject DR processes and active participation in DR exercises
What you need to fulfill the role
- 1 to 2 years experience in a similar position
- Well-founded qualification as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification
- Good skills with Linux (Debian, Ubuntu etc.)
- You combine your problem-solving skills with strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
- Effective teamwork skills to build strong relationships within the team.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and improve
- Strong problem-solving skills – you enjoy getting to the bottom of things
