What your day will look like
In this role, you will play a key part in enabling a smooth, structured and effective collaboration with the Works Council. You ensure that co-determination topics and HR projects are well-organised, clearly documented and efficiently managed, creating the foundation for fast and high-quality decision-making.
At the same time, you will gain exposure to labour law, HR governance and strategic HR topics, working closely with senior stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
Works Council Coordination
- Prepare and coordinate meetings, including agendas and materials
- Document discussions and decisions (meeting minutes, action tracking)
- Ensure structured and compliant documentation of all topics
Drafting & Documentation
- Prepare first drafts of works agreements (Betriebsvereinbarungen)
- Maintain templates and standard clauses
- Coordinate feedback with HR, business stakeholders and legal experts
Project & Topic Management
- Support HR and compliance-related projects (e.g. time tracking, regulatory topics)
- Track progress and ensure transparency across all topics
- Coordinate inputs from different stakeholders
Process & Governance Support
- Help implement structured processes and tools
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base
- Contribute to a scalable and efficient way of working
What you need to fulfill the role
- Degree in Law, Business Law, HR, Business Administration or similar
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, legal, governance or project coordination
- Experience with Works Councils or co-determination is a strong plus
- Fluent in German and English (mandatory)
- Experience in project coordination or project management
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple topics in parallel
- Comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information
