Overview

Under general supervision, serves as a Data and Reporting Analyst II on the Business Intelligence team, owning the development of dashboards, reporting, and financial analyses that enable business leaders to make data-driven decisions and contributing to AI development initiatives that advance enterprise analytics and automation. This role proactively partners with stakeholders across the enterprise to define metrics, translate business questions into reporting solutions, and deliver insights through automated, scalable data products. The analyst independently manages and continuously improves existing datasets and reporting to ensure reliable performance for end users, and collaborates on AI-driven use cases that enhance forecasting, operational efficiency, and decision support.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains executive-ready dashboards and recurring reporting (e.g., revenue, margin, pipeline, churn, opex/capex, capacity, and KPI scorecards) to support decision making.
  • Partners with business leaders to gather requirements, define success measures, document metric definitions, and translate needs into scalable BI solutions.
  • Performs financial and operational analyses (variance, trend, cohort, and ad hoc modeling) and communicates insights, drivers, and recommendations.
  • Maintains existing datasets, data models, and reporting assets; monitors refreshes and data quality; troubleshoots issues to ensure reliable functionality for end users.
  • Builds and improves self-service reporting experiences and enablement at scale, including concise documentation, standardized templates, and targeted user training to drive adoption and consistency.
  • Identifies and develops AI/automation use cases (e.g., anomaly detection, narrative insights, forecasting enhancements, and workflow automation) in partnership with BI and IT stakeholders.
  • Ensures appropriate handling of sensitive financial and customer data in accordance with company policies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, MIS, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role (e.g., FP&A, accounting/finance).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI preferred) and working with data models and semantic layers.
  • Experience owning stakeholder-facing dashboards and reporting end-to-end (intake, design, build, validation, deployment, and ongoing iteration).
  • Proven ability to influence KPI/metric definitions and drive standardization by partnering with stakeholders to document business rules and establish reporting governance.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts; ability to query, validate, and reconcile data across sources.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences; strong written and verbal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple requests and deliver accurate work on time.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with FP&A processes such as budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Power BI experience including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling best practices.
  • Exposure to data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and version-controlled BI development.
  • Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to accelerate analysis, automate reporting workflows, draft narrative insights, or prototype AI/automation use cases.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and ability to reconcile financial results across systems.

Pay Range $55,500.00 - $90,535.45
