Sales Operations and Strategy Analyst
Schaumburg, IL (50% Onsite/50% Remote)

The Sales Operations and Strategy Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the sales team in optimizing business growth through data analysis and insights. You will be collecting, analyzing and interpreting data related to customer acquisition, retention and engagement to improve sales performance, and you will be the central hub for all sales analysis within the Sales Enablement team
Day to Day:
- Develop analysis supporting the Sales Channel Strategy including:
- Optimizing sales conversion with segment-based analytics (e.g., customer, channel, product type, payment type – mobile vs. cash, etc.)
- Translating resulting data insights into opportunity targets for sales team (e.g., jukebox model upgrade opportunities, new location growth, etc.)
- Support in variable compensation reporting:
- Provide input into the creation of sales compensation targets/plan
- Support tracking of sales performance, MBOs and other key measures
- Develop productivity measures for Sales team
- Create a template model to support review and approval of hardware sales discounting
- Create original analyses in support of the sales team’s efforts. Examples of previous analysis include:
- Route performance dashboards showing a customer’s jukebox earnings versus various comparables (e.g., other jukeboxes in the geographic area, other operators of a similar size, overall TouchTunes company totals)
- Highlight the lift in jukebox earnings created by the company’s new initiatives
- Leverage data from third party tools to effectively deliver required analyses (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle BI, and other internal data warehouses)
- Work cross-functionally with the finance, technology, and product teams on the development of reporting and dashboards to be used by management and departmental teams
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in statistics/data analytics, accounting/finance, or other related field preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in business intelligence and analysis, ideally with 2+ years’ experience in retail analytics (e.g., store revenue analytics, consumer retail revenue yield analysis, etc.)
- Strong experience in analytical reporting using Excel, Salesforce, Oracle BI, and ERP platforms, with the ability to both describe, specify and perform complex data analysis
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools a plus
- Ability to leverage SQL or other back-end data queries to create new complex data sets for analyses
- Ability to process complex data sets in order to generate insights/conclusions
- Ability to create dynamic/user-friendly outputs for the visualization and consumption of data by the sales team
- Proficiency in data querying, data cleaning, and data transformation techniques
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex data sets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets accurately and efficiently
- Exceptional data-driven thinking and analytical skills, including ability to derive insights and distill into clear recommendations
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to sanity check and tie back work to bigger picture
