Location: New York, NY (currently hybrid with up to 50% remote)

We are looking for a rockstar Senior Royalties Analyst to join our Music Team. You’ll work for and closely with our Manager, Royalties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and distribution of royalty statements, including error reconciliation, internal statement review, and statement finalization for all TouchTunes businesses in the US, UK and Canada.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly manual statements handled outside the royalty system.
- Tracking of contractual advances and recoupments to ensure they are paid in accordance with existing contracts.
- Coordination of payment requests with our US & UK AP/Finance departments to meet contractual deadlines.
- Ensuring administration changes are accurately entered into the royalty system in order to set up licensors (Publishers, Record Labels, PROs/CMOs) in accordance with contract terms.
- Updating publishing information, including song split percentages, in the song database.
- Working with the Licensing department to ensure copyright information is accurate and licenses are secured.
- Working closely with the Licensing and Database teams to identify areas for automation and system enhancements.
- Royalty/ad hoc analyses and special projects.
- Responding to inquiries from licensing partners regarding music royalties.
- Assisting with processing Letters of Direction (LODs).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 years of music royalties experience (experience in international royalties is a plus) including royalty system and statement generation experience
- Knowledge of and experience working with key music industry players (labels, publishers, societies)
- Strong computer and analytical skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (i.e., V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Highly organized
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently but be a team player and flexible. Must be able to adapt to all situations and handle stress.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong sense of professional ethics, discretion, and confidentiality
