Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Loves Park, Illinois
Your mission in the Dart team:
The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of internal quality systems for products manufactured at our Loves Park facility. This role focuses on ensuring that processes, documentation, and materials meet defined internal standards and support readiness for regulatory audits and production certifications. The position plays a vital part in maintaining product reliability, supplier accountability, and process traceability.
Your day-to-day:

Develop, document, and maintain internal quality procedures, work instructions, and process controls.

Administer the Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR) process and drive timely resolution through corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and production teams to ensure alignment on quality requirements.

Support supplier performance tracking and contribute to quality scorecards and escalations.

Prepare and maintain quality documentation required for regulatory.

Conduct material review activities, including First Article Inspections (FAI) and production part verification.

Participate in PPAP-related tasks and document submissions for new and revised components.
Assist with internal training and awareness initiatives related to quality processes.
Your profile:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field preferred.
2–5 years of experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing support role.
Familiarity with electromechanical assembly and process control in a low- to mid-volume production setting.
Knowledge of quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., CAPA, FMEA, root cause analysis).
Experience with QMS implementation and maintenance preferred.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn systems such as Arena Empower.
Strong attention to detail and effective cross-functional communication skills.
