The Senior Director, Data Analytics will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of TouchTunes’ analytics strategy to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will oversee the analytics function, delivering actionable insights, driving measurement frameworks, and fostering a culture of analytical rigor. The Sr. Director will partner closely with stakeholders across business units to establish and maintain dashboards and ensure that data is used effectively to accelerate growth, improve operations, and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Analytics Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics roadmap aligned with company priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Technology to define KPIs and analytics needs.
  • Drive adoption of data and analytics best practices across the organization.

Insights Generation

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of analytics dashboards, reports, and insights to guide strategic and operational decisions.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Partner with business units to evaluate and optimize initiatives using data analysis and performance measurement.

Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing analytics team, including data analysts, data scientists, and functional analytics resources.
  • Promote a collaborative, results-driven culture within the analytics team and with stakeholders.

Data Infrastructure & Tools

  • Partner with Data Engineering and IT to ensure analytics platforms, tools, and data pipelines meet business needs.
  • Recommend and implement tools for data visualization, reporting, and advanced analytics.

Data Governance & Quality

  • Support data governance processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
  • Establish and monitor data quality standards that enhance trust in analytics outputs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading analytics initiatives in a high-growth or complex environment.
  • Strong skills in data visualization, statistical analysis, and persuasive storytelling with data.
  • Experience with customer data platform, data management, and data visualization tools (e.g., Segment, Mixpanel, Databricks).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Strategic thinker with strong execution focus.
  • Exceptional communication skills for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Deep understanding of analytics methodologies, measurement frameworks, and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in analytics, BI, and data-driven decision-making.
