Your mission in the Product Management team:
At TouchTunes, your work matters. As the Director of Product Management, Music Consumer, you will lead the Music Consumer Product team and own all app and web music products that are consumer-facing. You will lead ideation and innovation for the music consumer domain, define a holistic strategy in partnership with the Chief Product Officer, and turn that strategy into world-class product experiences. You will collaborate with your senior counterparts in program management and engineering to orchestrate these multi-team deliverables. You will monitor, analyze and report on your initiatives and performance to key stakeholders, and represent Music Consumer Product in company-wide and LT-level meetings.

As the voice of the music consumer, you will lead research into their needs and trends, ensure that we understand our range of music consumer personas, improve their current experiences with our platform and look for opportunities to expand our value proposition for them.

Your Day-To-Day:

Your position has two main components:

Team Management

  • Directly manage all Product Managers who work on music consumer products
  • Ensure each team member is put in a position to succeed by setting clear expectations within a sphere of ownership
  • Actively advocate for their growth
  • Guide them in best practices
  • Coordinate practices across the team to ensure all team members are following the same product development process

Product Management

  • Utilize analytics, internal & external feedback, benchmarking, A/B testing and market research to ensure data underlies Music Consumer Product strategy
  • Work with sales and marketing to understand market potential and competitive landscape
  • Partner closely with the head of Design on user and usability research
  • Capture customer needs, product scenarios and stakeholder feedback to identify problems we need to solve and improve existing products
  • Work closely with engineering leadership to ensure effort sizing is well-informed and vetted
  • Communicate product vision to stakeholders and teams
  • Communicate product roadmap updates, issues and plans to the pertinent areas of the business
  • Define key metrics that measure the success of consumer initiatives, then monitor and report on them

Your profile:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years at the leadership/director level.
  • Proven track record leading B2C mobile app products
  • Strong technical fluency — able to effectively partner with engineering teams and understand and explore architectural trade-offs.
  • Experience managing end-to-end user experiences, from onboarding through complex backend workflows.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to simplify complex topics to communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Customer obsessed, data-driven mindset with a firm grasp of analytics, experimentation (A/B testing), and metrics-based decision-making.
  • A passion for technology with a creative and curious mindset to drive change and advance our products and services.
