The IT Project Manager, Senior is responsible for managing the project scope, execution, and satisfaction from our “Customer” (internal Tungsten Automation stakeholders.)

Project /Practice Management

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
  • Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in requirements analysis reviews of inbound project requests related to new systems or changes to existing systems
  • Update Project related information throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Work with business users to help them create business cases or input project financial information
  • Interface with development team, systems team, vendors and stakeholders to ensure all understand project specific input required
  • Various reporting activities on an ad hoc basis

Required Skills

  • Effective presenter with PowerPoint
  • Successfully managed complex enterprise application development and/or implementation projects i.e. ERP, Salesforce, Data & Reporting

Required Experience

  • Five years minimum proven successful Project Management experience leading large global projects which may include ERP, CRM, infrastructure, networking, application development custom apps, business intelligence
  • BA or equivalent business experience preferred

Communication

  • Facilitates team and customer meetings effectively.
  • Holds regular status meetings with project team.
  • Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

Technical Understanding

  • Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of our capabilities.
  • Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on customer engagements.
  • Possesses general understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies

Customer Management (Internal Tungsten Automation Stakeholders)

  • Manages day-to-day customer interaction.
  • Sets and manages customer expectations.
  • Develops lasting relationships with customer personnel that foster customer ties.
  • Communicates effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
