IT Application Developer - Boomi

Delivers and builds on existing investments with Dell Boomi and EDI.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating and maintaining formal data structures, data description and data architecture; this can include data models, data definitions, data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, etc.
• Develop Interfaces using Dell Boomi middleware technologies
• Design, develop and support company enterprise solution integrations and EDI
• Work with peers and Subject Matter Experts to create end to end detailed integration solutions
• Problem solving/root cause analysis/analytical skills responsibilities
• Work closely with enterprise architect to ensure that solutions are developed using best practices, and follow standard software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Work closely with other developers in the team, business analyst, QA analyst and project managers.
• Coordinates Boomi deployments on defined schedules
• Manages Boomi AtomSphere platform including Atoms, Connections and Job Schedules
• Manages Boomi Components and coordinates any conflicts between processes
• Documents technical requirements by working with the IT Business Analysts, Architecture manager and/or business users
• Completes development tasks assigned according to the project plan and communicates updates, obstacles and status accordingly.
• Follows defined technical and development standards and best practices
• Creates and maintains application documentation
• Resolves application production issues as needed
• Actively participates in application design sessions
• Assists with other duties as assigned

• Worked on Implementations of Dell Boomi
• Good knowledge of EDI
• Experience as tech lead in a major enterprise integration initiative

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, or related field is required; consideration given for related technical experience
• Must have Integration experience with Salesforce and Netsuite or any ERP in general with experience in EDI
• Good Hands on experience in Error Handling in integration platform (Dell Boomi)
• Good SQL, PL/SQL development skills
• Strong knowledge of modern API based middleware architectures
• Minimum of 3-5 years of system integration using Dell Boomi
• Strong integration experience of 5-10 years
• Strong integration technical skills with hands on design, development, testing and deployment in enterprise applications
• Experience developing SOAP and REST based web services
• 2+ years of developing solutions and supporting projects from requirements gathering to release management
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines
• Dell Boomi certification preferred, but not required

Other Responsibilities:

• Performs routine application monitoring and maintenance
• Trains additional staff in supporting the applications
• Participates in any platform-related certifications
• Assists with other duties as assigned
