ABOUT THE ROLE
The Vice President, Sales – Mid Market will build and lead a high-growth software sales team responsible for selling Tungsten Automation’s Intelligent Automation software platform to mid-market customers. This role will focus on transforming information-intensive business processes for customers, reducing manual work and errors, minimizing costs, and improving customer engagement while driving consistent quarterly revenue across the region. The leader in this role will be both strategic and operational, ensuring a strong pipeline, operational excellence, and a high-performing sales culture across the team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Lead and manage the Mid Market sales team, setting clear expectations and performance standards.

Serve as a strategic and operational leader, driving sales strategy, territory planning, and execution.

Drive consistent quarterly revenues by maintaining a strong, qualified pipeline of opportunities that result in predictable revenue achievement.

Hire, inspect, coach, develop, mentor, and drive successful sales executives to achieve and exceed targets.

Inspire the sales team to be creative, driven, and successful in a competitive marketplace.

Act as a role model by actively engaging in key opportunities and executive-level customer conversations.

Ensure a high level of customer and partner satisfaction across the Mid Market segment.

Demonstrate and enforce Sales Operational Excellence, including accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and use of sales processes and tools.

Represent the Tungsten Automation brand in traditional markets as well as new, high-growth areas, building our presence and reputation.

Required Experience
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

8–10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, including at least 5 years leading a division or regional sales team.

Demonstrable sales and sales leadership experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Experience in enterprise software solutions selling; experience in Intelligent Automation or related technologies is desirable.

Proven ability to build, develop, and maintain a highly effective, high-performing sales team.

Experience with both direct and indirect sales models, including partners and channels.

Excellent cross-functional collaboration and influence skills, with the ability to work closely with Marketing, Product, Services, and Finance.

Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including executive-level presentation capabilities.

Autonomous, influential leader with strong communication skills, high integrity, and a hands-on operating style.

Successful track record of quarterly and annual revenue performance in enterprise software.

Proven ability to build and manage a qualified, high-quality pipeline of opportunities.

Demonstrated ability to attract, lead, develop, and retain high-performing team members.

Utilizes AI-enabled tools (e.g., chatbots, document automation, analytics assistants) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and streamline routine tasks while following company AI governance and data privacy standards.

Skills in prompting AI systems and assessing output quality.

Ability to leverage AI to ideate, develop, and scale to the needs of their department.

The base salary range for this role, across the US, is $155,033 - $240,000, plus a variable component. Your actual base pay within this range will be determined by your work location, skills, qualifications, experience, and relevant education or training. This range reflects the base salary for the role and is offered in conjunction with a comprehensive benefits package.
