As a key member of the People Success team, this role is responsible for evolving and leading Veracode’s global pay structure, incentive programs, benefit programs and our employee recognition platform. This position plays a critical role in attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent by ensuring competitive and equitable compensation packages and comprehensive employee benefits plans.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a global compensation strategy aligned with the organization's goals, market trends, and industry best practices.
  • In concert with sales and sales operations, develop global sales incentive compensation plans and programs.
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to ensure the competitiveness of compensation packages.
  • Design and administer base salary structures, incentive plans, and recognition programs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and People teams to ensure consistency and fairness in compensation practices across the organization.

Benefits Administration:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, wellness initiatives, and other fringe benefits.
  • Address legislative changes and industry trends related to employee benefits, ensuring compliance and recommending necessary modifications to the programs.
  • Manage relationships with benefits providers, negotiate contracts, and monitor service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Educate and communicate benefits programs to employees, answering inquiries and providing guidance.

Compensation and Benefits Governance:

  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to compensation and benefits administration.
  • Monitor and analyze compensation and benefits data, preparing reports and presenting findings to senior management.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and enhance program effectiveness.

Benchmarking:

  • Benchmark compensation and benefits programs against industry peers and conduct market surveys to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to managers and HR staff on compensation-related topics, including performance-based pay and recognition programs.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead a team of compensation and benefits professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes knowledge sharing and professional growth.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in global compensation and benefits management, with a focus on strategic planning and program design.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, including job evaluation, salary structures and incentive plans.
  • Experience with global sales compensation plan design.
  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret data, conduct market research, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management and planning skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in UKG preferred.
