As a Business Development Representative you will be responsible for qualifying marketing leads and prospecting into Strategic and Enterprise target accounts. Working closely with your Account Executives, you will call into companies to identify individuals who are candidates for our solution, introduce them to Veracode's products and set follow up meetings or web based demonstrations for you and your counterparts.

This role requires a motivated self-starter capable of making things happen and delivering results.

This is an inbound/outbound lead qualification position - you must be comfortable on the phone cold calling and motivated to contact prospects via multiple methods in order to achieve your targets.

The Business Development Representative hired needs to be hands-on, results-oriented, metrics driven and pragmatic.

Requirements:

1-2 years work experience

Native German speaker is required

Previous experience prospecting into the DACH region strongly preferred

You must be positive, flexible, willing to learn, and constantly push yourself to succeed

Excellent verbal and written communications skills and an outgoing, energetic presence

Experience with Salesforce.com or CRM Preferred

Demonstrated work ethic and consistent track record of over achievement including initiative to prospect calls

Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence without authority

Ability to adapt, contribute and succeed in a fast paced, rapidly changing, early stage company environment

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

Strong desire to start a career in sales
