Location: Logan Area

Position: Disability Support Specialist – Vietnamese Speaking

Multiple Positions available in Oxley

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Disability Support Specialists to join our team. This role is focused on providing high-quality support to our clients.

The successful candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and provide emotional support, all while ensuring dignity and respect remain at the heart of the care provided.

Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).

Provide companionship and emotional support.

Support mobility, transportation, and community access.

Administer medication and monitor health conditions.

Assist with meal preparation and household tasks.

Develop and follow individualized support and care plans.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Promote independence and community participation.

Skills & Attributes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Compassionate, patient, and resilient approach.

Skilled in managing challenging behaviors and complex needs.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications & Knowledge

Must be able to speak Vietnamese

Certificate III (or above) in Disability Support or a related field.

Knowledge of the NDIS Framework and Practice Standards.

Understanding of disability rights and advocacy.

Current First Aid and CPR certification. (Mandatory)

Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.

NDIS Worker Screening Check. (Mandatory)

Working With Children Check. (Mandatory)

Valid rights to work in Australia. (Mandatory)
