The Role – Part Time Beauty Therapist (25 hours per week)

We are looking for a driven and motivated individual to join our state-of-the-art Skin Bar at David Jones Chadstone Mall.

As an esteemed Dermalogica Brand Ambassador, you are an authentic Brand representative that delivers expert skin advice in a highly professional, up-tempo and well-educated manner at Dermalogica Skin Bars.

Responsible for encompassing our brand code, delivering solutions in the form of customised Face Mapping Skin Analysis and empowering consumers with expert skin health advice, through a personalized approach to all interactions you have. By showcasing your advanced skin and product knowledge, expert skin therapy skills and brand enthusiasm, you positively contribute to Dermalogica’s success.

We will provide you with the training and tools to flourish in an environment that is highly professional, innovative and extremely exciting!

Key Responsibilities:

The set up and use of appropriate equipment for Face Mapping Skin Analysis, FaceFits and Skin Bar
Carry out treatments as specified, offering advanced knowledge and advice to all consumers, never making a client feel you are anything less than professional
Be responsible for opening and closing of a Skin BarSm
Demonstrate a commitment to achieving set sales targets
Assist with merchandising, stock control.
Maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene for the Skin BarSm
Keep a running total of all Face Mapping Skin Analysis, FaceFits and Skin BarSm performed
Work safely and to consider the health and safety of others. Always demonstrate safe behaviors and environmentally sound work practices.

The Candidate

Your passion lies within proven experience in beauty therapy with an excellent knowledge of the skin care industry ideally with supervising experience and have exceptional retail skills & passionate about educating consumers about their skin.

We seek a charismatic, results-oriented, self-motivated candidate with a proven track record of success. Previous experience in retail, highly developed people skills, great teamwork and a strong selling ability will secure this role.
